About these terms
These terms govern use of the Vulcan Vector website. Vulcan Vector is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The website introduces our Yggdrasil managed GPU infrastructure service and provides ways to contact us and view roles.
Use the website only if you can comply with these terms and applicable law. If you use it for an organisation, you must be authorised to act for that organisation. Questions can be sent to hello@vulcanvector.ca.
Information and service agreements
Website descriptions, diagrams and articles provide general information. A technology shown in the stack may be an alternative or an optional integration. A final deployment depends on the customer’s hardware, requirements, supported design and relevant third-party licences.
The website does not itself establish a managed-service contract or SLA. Service scope, support commitments, implementation work, responsibilities and payment terms are agreed separately in writing. If a signed service agreement conflicts with these website terms concerning the service, that agreement controls.
Pricing and estimates
Published management rates are in Canadian dollars and are distinct from the cost of GPU hardware, compute capacity, hosting and commercial software licences. Applicable taxes are additional unless stated otherwise.
Node count selects the displayed rate, which is charged per managed GPU-hour. The website calculator is illustrative and uses the inputs you supply; it is not a quotation, invoice or reservation of capacity. Larger clusters receive a tailored proposal. Any separately scoped deployment work is described in the proposal.
We may update website prices prospectively. Changes to an existing customer agreement follow that agreement, not a website edit.
Permitted use
You may browse the website and use its contact and recruitment features for their stated purposes. Do not:
- attempt unauthorised access, bypass access controls or misrepresent your identity;
- introduce malicious code, disrupt the site or interfere with another person’s use;
- use the forms for spam, unlawful material or information you are not authorised to disclose;
- collect personal information or copy substantial site content through unauthorised automated activity.
Any security testing that could affect the website or infrastructure requires our prior written authorisation.
Enquiries and applications
Provide accurate information that is relevant to your enquiry or application. You retain rights in the material you submit and allow us to use it for the purpose described in the Privacy notice. Do not submit credentials, confidential datasets or unnecessary sensitive information.
An enquiry does not guarantee service availability. An application does not create an offer of employment or a commitment to an interview. Any employment offer and its terms will be communicated separately.
Login and restricted areas
Customer areas require express authorisation. Requesting access, submitting a login form or contacting sales does not grant access to a customer system. If accounts are made available, account-specific terms and security requirements may apply in addition to these terms.
Customer responsibilities and service scope
Before managed work begins, the parties agree the covered environment, authorised contacts, access method, acceptance criteria and change process. You must have the rights and authority to provide access to the hardware, software and information involved. Do not send infrastructure credentials, private datasets or confidential research through a website form.
Operational responsibilities—including backups, restoration tests, security patching, incident escalation, third-party licences and service exit—must be assigned in the written agreement. Availability targets, response times, maintenance windows and any credits are contractual matters; this website does not establish those remedies or a universal uptime guarantee.
You retain your rights in your data and workloads. Any access or processing needed to deliver the service must be covered by the engagement’s confidentiality and data-handling terms.
Content and third-party services
Website content, branding and design are owned by Vulcan Vector or used under applicable permissions. You may view the site and make reasonable copies for internal evaluation. Other use of protected content requires the relevant rights holder’s permission, except where law permits it.
Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. A technology reference does not imply a partnership, certification or endorsement. Linked websites and third-party services have their own terms; we do not control their content or availability.
Availability and limitations
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but it may contain errors, change or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, the website and general information are provided without warranties of uninterrupted availability, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Validate technical information for your own environment before acting on it.
To the extent permitted by law, Vulcan Vector is not liable for indirect or consequential loss resulting from use of this informational website, such as loss of profits, research opportunity or data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or a warranty that cannot legally be excluded, limits mandatory consumer rights, or replaces commitments in a signed service agreement.
Governing law and updates
These website terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Subject to mandatory rights to use another court or forum, disputes concerning these terms may be brought before the courts of Ontario. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive rights that applicable law protects.
We may revise these terms for future use of the website and update the date above. Material changes will be identified where appropriate. A change does not retroactively amend a separate customer agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
